I've had FOBO sensors on my 2003 Goldwing for at least 7 years and now I put them on my daughter's 2011 Ford Fiesta. I put new Autel MX tpms sensors in the wheel and after 721 miles 3 of them failed. So I decided to go with FOBO. The APP does work much better than in the past. Shipping is super fast from FOBO in Maylasia. These sensors are great alternative to more expensive OEM, plus the cost of having them installed IF you can't do that yourself. These FOBO are easy to put on. But IF you go with the T Valves like I did, you have to break the tire down to install the valves.
Latest iOS broke the CarPlay. When riding my motorcycle I used to open the App on my CarPlay device and see what my pressures were. Suddenly I only get a message that there is no profile. I tried it in my truck and the same thing, so not my CarPlay device. I’ve always loved my FOBO and recommended it to fellow bikers but only useful if you use the phone only now.
As a long time user of FOBO on both bike and tire varieties on multiple simultaneous vehicles, this update is the worst implementation possible. Definitely not seamless to transition to a single app, Apple ID existing login failed then sensors won’t join as they show owned by another user…the other user is me!!!! I have too many sensors to have to do to make this an enjoyable experience and definitely will no longer be recommending FOBO to friends and family. Nobody wants to go through this much work to be able to get tire pressure readings. And invasive location tracking to top it off. Will not be buying any more of your hardware after this experience.
FOBO TPMS is a Wireless Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) using Bluetooth connectivity for sensors that works directly with your smart device. K...
