I was about 8 years old. My dad went to go pick something up from a family member and parked the car in the street, saying that he would be back in a minute. What he didn’t know was that he accidentally left the car in neutral. The street had a slight incline so the car started rolling down the street. Me and my brother were sitting in the back seat and noticed that the car was moving and that it was picking up speed. Fortunately for me, at the time I was really addicted to this game and had the beginning cutscene memorized down to the smallest detail. I jumped in the front seat and slammed the brakes. I didn’t know how to set the car to park so I had to hold the brakes until my brother got my dad. 5 stars.
So I used to play the daily games a long time ago and I loved them, And it pains me to see what they did to these great games. You used to be able to customize your character in a little pedestal with all the outfits you had and the cars too, along with what I think was either a spin of a wheel or a box opening to unlock outfits or cars. You can’t do that anymore! At least not that I see…. Now it’s a awful looking chart of your outfits and cars…. And it’s a limited amount of things you can get now it seems. NOW you have to pay Faily brakes classic for all the stuff, and it’s the same for Faily Rider , Not as much for Faily skater but the changes they put in for that game should NOT be in there, if they were to bring back old versions they would ALL be at least in my opinion 100% better. So I’m my opinion you would be better off just not playing this game unless the previous versions are put back.
I know I'm just going to flag their automated "this is a free game, so we have to run ads" response, and honestly, I understand that reasoning completely. I fully understand and support devs for running ads on a free game. However, it's the sheer volume of ads that's a problem. How about 1 ad every 3 or 4 runs? That would sound fair to me, but it's an ad after EVERY run, no matter how long you last. Not to mention a constant banner ad that blocks vision during gameplay at the top of the screen. So, you could have your vision barred, lose within 10 seconds of starting, and then be bombarded with more advertisements right after. There's just no physical way to enjoy the game without spending to remove the invasive advertisements, and I think that harassing players into spending a few dollars because of this, is a lazy way of handling the game. The game is interesting. There's substance to the game and its physics system, and it's actually fun past the ads. Call me stingy because I don't want to spend a couple dollars to remove ads and experience the game fully- I don't care, and that doesn't take away from the fact that this game's advertisements deserve to be criticized. I don't mean to be disrespectful to the devs at all. I get that you guys are human, need to pay the bills, and feed your families too. I don't want ads removed; just tweaked to not be so invasive. At the end of the day, it's still your game, and I'm glad people enjoy it for what it is.
