Listen, after reading this review you will be so surprised and wont download EP Student. You see, the morning i got this app i was excited, i thought “WOW THIS IS AMAZING!!”. Then i played for a bit (I shouldn’t say ‘play’ but…yeah) and got a really bad stomach ache and headache. There were so many bright colours i started to see a large man in a black suit. He broke my door and came running in my home, grabbing my kids. I thought that I was just hallucinating, until…..the man looked me in the eye and lifted me up I screamed and kicked. He let me back down and ran out of my home. I saw a business card that said, Bob Charli- EP student. I was so surprised! I turned off my phone and went to the kitchen to check on my kids, then they asked if they could ‘play’ EP Student to see how it is. I said ok and then my daughter went to play. A few minutes later a small dog came and scratched at my back door. I let him in and then its nice littile eyes went red and leaped at me. This might seem like a story but it actually happened, and that’s not all. Later that night, i got a call from the Hospital my grandpa was in. He had a serious heart condition. They said that they were so sorry but he had dies of a heart attack I cried and deleted EP Student. DONT GET THIS STUPID APP!!!!
I am aware that you have spent countless hours on this, however it does not excuse this absolute hell sent abomination I see before my eyes. I get a feeling of dread and discomfort every time my Japanese teacher asks us to open up this disaster and poor excuse of a teaching / learning app. Let’s take an example; you are required to translate “My name is Fred” into this terribly made software. You type in “わたしのなまえわふれどです” however, to your surprise, it fails and insists you typed the incorrect answer. You make an attempt to report it but you don’t get any response. In this example, I, personally, would be left wondering if it even made its way to the team in the first place. This is just one example that briefly summarises just one of the problems that this train wreck of an app has. Everyday thousands suffer at the hands of this poorly made, buggy application and I truly empathise with them. I beg of you to take down this awful app. Thank you for your time.
It’s pretty good. Competing in the world championships is lots of fun and you can get really competitive with your friends. You probably can’t just use this for language learning, but if you use it with another language app, it can help to memorise words really well, given the point system that rewards you for reviewing words regularly. In terms of classroom use, it gets a bit boring, but that’s not so much the app, as the curriculum and school in general. However the regular memes and gifs make the slides lots more fun and engaging. The cheer system is pretty fun, and it’s fun to see if you can collect all the stickers. I would say though, that it does glitch a lot so you have to reload the page, or something weird will happen to your screen, but their mostly just minor inconveniences.
