EMC Security

App is simple to use with my setup. I love the price point and the simplicity of the keypad and the app but the only problem I have is a problem I truly hate and that is sometimes the app abruptly signs me out like I purposely did it myself. It also boils my blood when it omits my password which I can retrieve and then I can start reusing the biometrics or Face ID. This is very problematic for me especially when I’m entering my home during times where it’s very late. Otherwise the security service is fantastic because the authorities were notified quickly to a freakish false alarm at one time. I’ve had other more top of line subscriptions with a multi year contract but EMC Security otherwise is a sweet spot for me.

I have paid for a service that I am disappointed with. The previous installer performed a much better job. Prior to installation, he consulted with me as to where I wanted the camera position. The current installer appeared to be ours concerned with finishing the job and moving onto the next job. He left my piece of furniture that he removed in disarray and did not place it back from where he removed it. I am so disappointed. All my security systems are with EMC Security. At both places of residences. The work performed today is subpar and haphazard.

This is my second 1 star review because the EMC app still doesn’t load reliably. After clicking on app, I get a “white screen of death”. After closing it out and even rebooting phone … and checking for updates, the EMC app is unreliable as a source to turn on and off the system remotely. Even after having to set off the alarm to gain access (to turn alarm off), I do get the text alerts that alarm went off and then another that alarm was cancelled. When I click on link to either of these texts … NOTHING happens. As much as I thought I liked EMc, I am seriously considering another more reliable company that fixes issues like this. Come on EMC … you can/should do better.
