This place has good food. But beware, cause you can get your order wrong. I ordered the lengua taco and upon picking up food, the lady Otilia had said she counted and bagged in tacos. Well I was missing the lengua taco, cause they counted the 2 flour tortillas as a taco which was for the menudo. I called and I guess she is the owner and said it wasn’t her fault or anyone’s fault. That whom ever the one who is in charge of the app hasn’t taken the lengua off the menu site and they no longer sell lengua, “cause of bacteria issues”. I don’t go every weekend, or often,so I ask to refund me back to my card. Apparently they refunded me,so she says. But yet on my credit card statement shows no refund. I didn’t like how she handled the issue, cause it seems to me like I’m the liar who wants my money back. I called her today to tell her there is still no refund credit, and I wasn’t going to bother anymore and to take it as a tip! This wouldn’t happened if they checked their orders correctly. And should have said something when I was picking up the order that they no longer sold lengua tacos and just replaced with another or gave me the change back right there and then. Bad customer service and don’t acknowledge their mistakes.
I love this place. But there is one thing I don’t like about the app. It forces you to give a full 15 percent tip even if you take it to go. I usually leave a small tip for to go orders but 15 percent seems pretty steep if you buy expensive dinner plates to go. I wouldn’t mind if they had a flat convenience fee or something like that. You get rewards for ordering with the app but the mandatory tip swallows that up plus some. If I call it in I won’t get charged a tip so what is the incentive to use the app?
