Effie: Write, Mindmap & Note

I really really like this app, but it's frustrating how I can't tell when the app on my phone and computer are synced together so I can work between devices at different times. I can't even tell which account my computer is logged in to because it doesn't show in settings, so that I can confirm both devices are connected to the same email. Also the mobile and desktop versions don't update all together; at the time of writing, the desktop version is at 6.9 while the mobile version is 5.3. I just wish there was more consistency, but if you only use it on one device, the app is very handy.

As a student this app has been an incredible tool! I got the opportunity to share my experience beforehand with my study-gram community, but I thought it would be good to share my experience on here too. First, Effie has an amazing organization system that works for everyone. I’m a big notes person—especially when it comes to school assignments and personal projects. Effie provides all these creative ways to stay organized in an efficient and productive way. I personally love how minimalistic the appearance of this platform is. It allows me to stay on top of my work without feeling overwhelmed with all these other tabs or widgets around my notes/mind-maps. Secondly, the mind-mapping tool is one of my favorites. When it comes to writing important papers I find the mind-mapping tool very useful in order to organize my thoughts or quotes I want to incorporate into my work. This app is overall worth downloading!

Ulysses but with a full-fledged free version as well as mind map capabilities. The four stars will become five when they elaborate on the mind map feature. They responded to my email within the hour asking for examples and I sent them screenshots of Scapple by literature and latte. The customer support rep said they’d work on it.
