Dumb Phone Launcher

After mining in tons of dumb phone apps I decided this one has the best value. Another app I’ve used has the same price, but it’s less customizable and the opening is less seamless. Keep it up!

First off I want to applaud the developer who works on this. The instructions are very easy to understand for anyone and allow you to import custom fonts. My only improvement is how apps are launched. For example, in “dp” (the largest dumb phone launcher on the app store) normal apps like Gmail, Messages, etc basically anything not system apps are launched directly. This means you don’t have to go through the dumb phone launcher to open the app. However, with this app you get sent to a a “redirecting” screen then the app opens. If the developer could improve this to make the app open directly it would be a 10/10. But besides that it’s a great way to help you reduce your screen time.

After trying several alternatives, this app is by far the most intuitive and effective. Its minimalist design keeps me focused—no more endless scrolling or forgotten tasks. My screen time has dropped significantly, and I feel genuinely more present throughout the day. Unlike many similar apps, it’s a one-time purchase with no subscription, making it both affordable and hassle-free.
