Drooid: News from All Sides

Personally I’m enjoying this app. It’s just news which is good to see. Fair and balanced. I like that it’s not an echo chamber. It tells you what viewpoint you’re reading. I did ask the developer why a majority of the news seems to be left and center. The developers’s response was they just want the facts of the matter which I appreciate very much. Also when speaking with the developer they seemed to really care about what I thought about the app. If it matters I came across this on a Reddit post.

I am a community moderator for a group who follows current events in the United States as well as the world. It is important to have sources for what is happening to be consistent, reliable, delivers what’s happening just as it’s occurring so I can deliver the most up to date information available. Drooid ticks every box! I recommend this app for anyone wanting balanced reliable, and timely news right in the palm of their hand. I like that it is news blurbs from a lot of sources. I can read what is there or dive deeper if I need. I don’t like how the comments are on a different page. “Buzz” doesn’t seem useful. Also the buzz part is a little glitchy. It’s a young app but I like the concept. A lot of the news I digest is headlines. I then dive deeper if I am interested. This gives a little deeper headlines without having me read a article bit gives me an option to read more if I want. It shows me a couple of different headlines in the same place. I like how it labels the headlines so you can have a sense of the lean it is coming from.
