Drone : Shadow Strike

I quite enjoy this game. It gives back the vibe of that old zombie gunship game while giving a more optimized and modern display. The challenges are fun and difficult, the equipment you can buy is all quite varied. This is a great game to download and sit and play for hours if you so choose. There’s no energy limiting your time to play, no economic struggle such as needing to buy premium ammo to advance, etc. I’d honestly pay money for this game. A note to the developers, about a year ago I noticed a bug where maxing our the damage on the longbow anti tank cannon actually put its damage back to stock. I haven’t gotten around to checking if it’s fixed yet because it would mean restarting the game if it’s not. I noticed it a good long while ago and it may very well be fixed now.

This is my favourite game on my phone. I like how it saves on your phone if you have Facebook, but I have some small criticisms. 1. I like the game but as soon as I got to the disputed territory, tapped one of the missions, and in the hanger it let me tap ‘start mission’ but only gave me a darker version of the hanger. 2. I don’t like the new UI. It looks too futuristic for a modern game and the weapons look just plain stupid. 3. Please fix the damage on the longbow. Normally everything goes down in one hit. But if you upgrade the damage you get over penetration. At least put a warning about it. To the developers: Thank you for reading and forwarding my review. Out of all of my criticisms I hope you can fix damage on the longbow, I feel like I wasted so much time to downgrade a weapon.

This was one of the most addictive games I’ve ever played. Great graphics, awesome sound fx, outstanding gameplay. And you can play within reason and unlock all upgrades and drones without spending any money.... but I have my issues with it.... • It doesn’t make sense how the rail gun (longbow) is instant kill for heavy tanks. But takes 2 or 3 shots for smaller technicals. • In one of the missions in the “Conflict Zone”; there is a challenge to kill 10 infantry within 5 seconds. But given the map this mission is on, you will only see 4 infantry, and only 4 at a time every other minute. Thus making this challenge impossible to clear. I’ve beaten every challenge in the game, except this specific one. It has to be a gameplay oversight that was never fixed. • In all the chapters and missions; their is a great variety of maps, operations, and enemy layouts. But the last 3 chapters, all the level maps are recycled and are exactly the same; as well as the mission and enemy layouts. Only difference is the level of enemy how frequent they spawn. Basically recycling the last 3 chapters. Seems very lazy for a game otherwise well made. • The ending was EXTREMELY anticlimactic. Of course, there is a “coming soon” label on the next chapter. But the last update to this game looks to be a year ago. So a cliffhanger that is never addressed aside from what I assume is a sequel. (Drone 2) There are a couple other minor issues, but they are so minute they can easily be ignored, and there is no sense in splitting hairs. Other than the aforementioned problems. This game is definitely a top 10 favorite.
