You can tell this one was meant to be more "gatcha" because it is VERY hard to build up finances and other resources in the beginning. If you persist, it does get easier eventually though. Still, it is very fun and you can be creative with the apartment layouts and furnishings. I do wish that you could see what each furniture item boosts before researching new ones.
I have played this game for a solid week now and finally finished the first chapter. I’m not sure what comes next, but I’m excited to continue playing! There are a few bugs, which aren’t game breaking, but can be annoying. Like when I close and restart the game, I don’t always get tickets even if I have played for a long while. It can run slow and it runs my battery down like crazy, but as I mentioned, I’m kind of addicted to making my pixel families happy at this point and am not willing to stop playing over those aspects.
I have tried out a few of this companies games and found the micromanaging and event pop ups to be a little tedious. This one is more of a relaxing and less micromanagey play style. Good to have on my desk at work and let my lil tenants live their lives and occasionally interact with a pop up every now and then.
