For .99 I thought I'd see how it works, and it's what I expected from reading the description. This app requires you to AFFIX your smart phone to the door you want to monitor. The alarm is triggered as soon as the phone is moved from the position it was in when the alarm was set. Also important to note the phone screen must be placed against the door. I suppose if you want the door monitored while you're home, and awake, and don't need your phone while it's armed (or have a spare device for this app), then it could work. I feel like a putz for spending money on this.
