District: Movies Events Dining

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’ve been thoroughly impressed by District. It is easy to use, has an intuitive and beautiful UI, and has amazing offers. I’m sure Dineout usually has the same offers, but I like the focused experience of this app. I don’t like multi functional apps that are used to order food + book tables + pay bills + some other nonsense they want to shove into your face. This app specifically is designed all around booking experiences and it shows in the attention to detail. The user journey is clear, the feedback the UI provides is clear and the offers are always clear and easy to understand and utilize. Further - and this is why I’m writing this review - their customer support is incredible. They have real professionals who care about you and your experience - not only on the app - but at the restaurant! A couple of times i’ve had a negative experience at a restaurant for which District apologized! It wasn’t even their fault! Promptly refunded any reservation cover charges, and even if i miss the reservation because i reserved somewhere else or had a change of plans they called to see if everything was okay and refunded my cover charge. I think their customer support goes above and beyond and set a standard in India for customer support. They show genuine care for the user’s experience and I hope this continues. Why would i use any other app to book tables?

Brilliant interface and a great user experience.

Downloaded this app just to make a restaurant reservation. Made the reservation - got a screenshot saying it was processed, amount gets changed to my credit card. 3 days later app support calls to let me know that the reservation processed was a glitch and I don’t actually have the reservation. Saying not to worry the amount charged will be refunded within 7 days is the icing on the cake. Should I be grateful that you’re not charging me 24k for a non existent service? Needless to say the app is getting deleted.
