DigiLocker

DigiLocker is a very useful and secure app for storing important documents digitally. It saves time and reduces the need to carry physical documents everywhere. The app is easy to use and linked with government issued IDs. Documents can be accessed anytime, anywhere on a mobile phone. Overall, DigiLocker is a reliable and convenient digital service.

This app allows multiple accounts to be added using the same phone number, so that i could see many other accounts on my number. The worst part is I am not able to remove those and didn't even know how those were added without any OTP authentication on my number. Seems like someone else is also utilising my number without my knowledge or consent.

I have been trying to add my 10th & 12th Marksheets but I am continuously getting a notification that says - "No records found with the given information" (OR) "oops something went wrong . Please try again" This is highly frustrating as I have been trying for months now and there is no improvement at all.

I currently live in us for my studies. I was in need of few of my docs, so I try it. And bingo it downloaded my all docs , 10, 12 mark sheets, adhar, driving, PAN Card all the documents seamlessly. Plus verification was too quick and smooth.

This app could easily be an all-star. I was so excited to see how seamlessly the app downloaded the Aadhaar card and the PAN card when I initially installed the app. Later I was disappointed when it failed to download my Telangana Motor Vehicle License even after multiple trials. Even more frustrating is the fact that it stops working as soon as you leave the Indian Borders (it gives a strange error message: 403 Forbidden). Although I understand that safety constructs have to be there with apps that deal with such sensitive data, this app goes a little overboard with that idea. For people who frequently travel out or live in another country, the app appears to be of limited use. Hope the developers will consider a work around for it to serve a wider user base. I will be happy to revise my review once the kinks are fixed. For now, I will give it an average score.

There is no option for folder creation under drive. How do users organize the documents? This is weird design decisions from the team. If possible please provide folder creation features back. It was initially there and removed later in the new design. Thank you
