DigiDecoder: Ham Radio

I’ve been listening to ALOT of APRS and this listens very well!

The initial version of this app did not fully function for me, not producing a waterfall. The updated version now works as it should. It can control your radio, but does not have general CAT control for expanded utility. UDP output helps with integration with Rumlog and other compatible loggers. We should very strongly welcome alternatives to the Macintosh version of WSJT-X with its silent, unauthorized, and permanent OS kernel modifications. Digidecoder leaves the OS alone and works quite well as a decoder. It has allowed me to operate multiple bands at once by running multiple different digital apps. One interesting feature for these new Mac digital developers to add would be a mechanism to simultaneously operate more than one radio on different bands from one app.

Caution nowhere either here or on the website does it say that there is a short free trail and then you’ll be forced to subscribe or buy. It mentions in app purchase but that usually implies some additional functionality over a free base that you pay for. This is tbe worst kind of deceitful marketing. Shame on you developer. Please reward him by not downloading this app.
