I ❤️DIG & I dug them even better when they finally moved into my nabe. I now I’m over the moon with the app. Now I can order the yummy meals that I saw the servers preparing every time I walked in to order on the spot, only to find they’re out of something by the time I get there. Ordering on the app gives me a chance that they’ll still have those great sheet tray carrots or one of my other faves. And I rack up points too! However—couple of teeny complaints: 1)When I was about to check out today, I saw that I’d have to wait a half hour to pick up, but I had ordered on the fly and was 2 seconds away. Didn’t want to wait, so finally realized I could go back and select “-10 minutes” as my wait time, so I selected that & went back to checkout. It wouldn’t let me. Spent some time trying to figure out why, including thinking I couldn’t knock down the wait time???I finally realized, the last step is “add payment.” Since I’d already saved my payment info in the app several weeks ago, didn’t think I need to add another payment method. After some frustration, I decided to hit “add payment.” It completed my order. I think that button should be labeled, “use stored payment method” for less confusion. 2) when I just walk in to order, the servers always ask me if I want utensils. I always say “no” as I have piles of plastic at home & want to reduce planetary impact. But when I went to pick up my order from the app today, I was automatically handed utensils. The server pointed out that “utensils” was indicated on the order slip; indeed it was. I remembered same thing happened last order pickup. I don’t recall anywhere on the app where I can refuse utensils. If that’s true, please change to a more planet-friendly option! Otherwise, 👍🏻 DIG!
I love this place! It has very fresh seasonal food that is both healthy and delicious. The people who service customers are friendly and efficient who don’t dilly dally. When there is a line it moves quickly. The space inside is clean and has both large and small tables. Bathroom is kept clean as well. If I could make a complaint, I would say that once in 50 or so plates the chicken breast can be slightly dry… but it’s very consistent otherwise.
I ordered the other day, and after 1.5 hours the order was marked as delivered. I went outside to look for my food, but it was nowhere to be found. I tried looking through the app for any helpful updates but couldn’t find anything (there’s no map in the app or delivery man phone number). Tried calling the restaurant and thankfully they picked up on the 2nd call. They then proceeded to tell me that the order was there but that they don’t deliver to my address anymore (i.e. an hour - hour and a half after I placed the order) so they can’t deliver it and they cancelled my order (on the app though they marked it as delivered) . The guy on the phone told me he’d give me a refund, but they only gave me a PARTIAL refund for an order THEY cancelled after 1.5 hrs. I contacted support through the app, but no response. I had several mistakes happen with Dig Inn in the past as well. The last order right before this one arrived completely wrong , and a bunch of things I paid for (and some i paid extra for) didn’t arrive with the order .
