I’m basing my review on the one switch that I just installed for my front porch lights. I wired the switch in, downloaded the app, and I was instantly able to connect to the switch via the app. The app was easy to use, and easy to program my lights for a sunset and sunrise, on/off setting. The app showed the exact time it was to turn on and turn off my lights that coincided exactly with my weather app’s sunset and sunrise times. And it did exactly what it said it was going to do at the exact time it said it would do it. So I’ve had the switch installed for a full 14 hours and it’s working exactly as advertised.
I have no issue with the switch itself. But the app is totally unreliable. I set the porch light to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. It will work as scheduled for no more than 2 days then it stops working as if a schedule was never set. I have to erase all schedules then set the schedules again. Works for 2 days then stops. This dysfunction is totally unacceptable as a useful tool for vacation times or even just making sure the porch light is on when I come home from work and isn’t on all day if I leave for work before it’s set to turn off at sunrise. Please fix this app. Otherwise I’m looking for a new switch that has a more reliable app.
Update: I really need to ditch this system. I have two of these switches. The app reports a different calculated sunset and sunrise even through the time is the same on both switches - and the system time is normally not even correct. Right now it’s four hours off. The app can pull up a different system time for the same coordinates on different switches. It doesn’t even update the date half the time. I have lights that won’t follow the program and turn on the middle of the night. They shouldn’t do that even with the bad time. Pure junk. This system is the worst. I’d give it negative stars if I could. ——— With the latest updates, I can't even connect to my switches, even though they show as paired. I've had enough and I'm dumping this crummy system and going with something else. Buy into this system only if you want stuff that doesn't work and no way to control or update it. If i could give it negative stars, I would.
The smart way to control lights! Switch on/off, control dimming and set the internal timer all with your Bluetooth connectivity. Now it’s easier tha...
