Doesn’t get any better for free, and even the paid alternatives could learn a few things from Dashboarr - it’s beautiful, intuitive, and getting better with each update. Keep going Dashboarr team!
On desktop (and until now on mobile as well) I used Homarr as my dashboard for my Linux docker server. However this app works much better in the mobile format with Mina setup, is very performant, and has most of the services I’d like to monitor out of the gate… and free / open source! What great value! the interface is clean and logical, much better than my previous standalone monitoring solutions for standalone apps. In the future I’d like to see slskd and Aurral support if possible, and maybe even Pi-hole if that fits in the author’s vision. If not, this app is already excellent and well worth trying out. Pair with Tailscale for an easy monitoring solution from anywhere without exposing services to the outside web!
I check out dashboard type apps whenever I see one pop up. Most all I run a few times and it ends up sitting there taking up space and rarely gets opened. This one is looking like the exception and I am looking forward to seeing where it goes. I was particularly pleased with its config file saving. I set this up on my iPad and tested transferring that config file shared over to my phone via my iCloud account and it was perfect.. the idea of transferring all those api keys again was not all that appealing…. Side note: With All these apps that depend on api keys for access, it’d be really killer if some xml format could be agreed upon to make importing them and urls to new apps less of a tour thru all the webuis when onboarding them to a new app. Let me encrypt it with my ssh key, a password or whatever…
