First of all, you need to log out to change languages. So many of the basic setup steps are only available in the Chinese interface. You can’t transfer money before you set up the transaction authentication/authorization. This step unfortunately was also only available in Chinese. Really annoying to navigate especially when the Chinese interface has a lot more items, so I don’t even remember where the buttons are anymore. Constantly taking screenshots to Google Translate and logging in and out several times between both languages is what I had to do. Please do better. The English interface looks really sad.

Just got an email from Cathay that they have an English version available. Clicking on the links ended up opening the Chinese language app already on my phone. Is this some kind of joke? You like messing with your users? Ridiculously inept communications and frustrating user experience. Fail.

There is no way to have English in the app and very difficult in the website with a poor translation. Please check other apps like HSBC much more international and just follow, if not it’s difficult being your customers guys.
