Crosstalk - AI Immersion

This app is amazing! I’m an introvert so finding a native spanish speaker to convince to do crosstalk was out of the picture for me. The conversation flows naturally and I can easily understand without difficulties. The only reason this app isn’t getting 5 stars is because of a minor issue I had while trying it out today. The Ai kept repeating the same question like 4 times, even after I had answered it. I hope this can be fixed.

Amazing app. No complicated point system. No leaderboards to worry about. No scripted conversations. You're having a quality conversation with an AI as if you were speaking to a native speaker. What I like to do is I have a list of "ice-breaker" sentences from Google Translate in my target language of topics that I like. Then I start talking to Crosstalk exactly as if I was speaking to a native Russian speaker. Crosstalk is very good at correcting the ways I put my sentences together and explaining new words. For someone with zero experience in your language, you have the option of replying in your native language.

I stumbled into this app on Reddit, someone had suggested it and I said what a cool idea. At the time there were only four languages supported on the app. I messaged and said “what a bummer, I wish the app offered Greek”. Well, sure enough, I think the owner (or one of the developers) responded and said I’ll let you know when we get there. To me, in typical app fashion, I just dismissed this, but was thankful I was at least acknowledged. Further, I’ll let you know when we get there usually means, see you in a few years. Sure enough, three days later, I get an email saying someone responded to your Reddit post, (since I post often I wasn’t thinking of what it could be) low and behold Greek is now inside the app. Just for this alone, I recommend using the app!
