Cosmo Watch

App crashed a few times. Also annoying can’t modify what kind of notifications you get, I only want it to beep when there is SOS from the kid or something urgent. What do you think happens when you give a 5yo a smart watch? Lots and lots of emojis. Phone beeps all the time and it’s annoying. Layout is not intuitive, like the text messages are in an area called “Voice Chat,” which doesn’t make sense. Also some of the error messages are in Chinese.

My littles (11 and 5) are too young to have cell phones but in this day and age staying in contact with my kids and making sure they stay safe is my top priority as a parent. I got two watches as surprise presents for them (and peace of mind for me) and not only do they LOVE them but I am also able to go about my daily routine knowing that they can text or call me from their watch at any time. Whether they are waiting for a school pickup from the babysitter or on a field trip with after school club, I can see exactly where they are and make sure they are safe and sound. Cosmo has given my family reassurance that no matter where my kids may be that day, they are never out of touch if they need help, or just to keep me updated with a quick video chat. My 9 year old son absolutely loves this watch! The features are exactly what you would hope for in a smart watch for kids. I love that it has a GPS tracker with automatic location updates. He absolutely loves that he now has his own phone number, and it is so great that we can call each other. The reception is so clear and it is a perfect alternative if you feel like your child is too young to have their own cellphone. He also loves that it tracks his steps, and once school goes back to in-person learning, the class mode will be very helpful. They’ve really thought of everything! We couldn’t be more pleased :-)
