I have over 45 hours logged on these practice tests. 100 percent the reason I passed first try. Helps so much just drilling the acronyms into in your head. Multiple questions I got on the actual exam were very very similar to the questions from this app. Definitely pay for the subscription so you get the awesome explanations for any questions you get wrong.
I was studying the material and wanted something that would give me confidence and help to to understand what I wasn’t getting and this app provided that and more because I was able to use it for 3 days and passed my sec+ and that’s all due to the time I put in to this app because just using the study guide wasn’t gonna cut it for me and maybe it’ll do for some but if you’re anything like me then this is a big help and recommend giving it a try!!!
As my review title suggests, this app is what it says it is. I took a CYSA+ Course for college then purchased a subscription for this app following completion. I studied over 900 different practice questions over 3 weeks on the app and managed to pass the certification exam at a 783. My confidence level for passing the certification exam after taking my college course was 7/10, after studying on the app it was 9/10, once I saw the actual questions on the exam, it went back down to a 7/10. Although this app gears you to a general familiarity with concepts covered in CYSA+, it still didn’t seem to cover everything that I felt was needed to pass the exam above an 800. Could be my own lack of knowledge and studying, or could be the sample questions on this app being intentionally vague to not reveal actual test questions. There were many questions on the actual exam that seemed to cover important concepts that this app simply didn’t cover. If I were to leave one piece of advice, it would be to study all acronyms in the CYSA+ book so the exam doesn’t surprise you like it did me. Best of luck!
