Cleanup Duplicate Contacts!

It removed over 95% of my duplicates but for unknown reasons, a small number of duplicates still exit. The biggest issue I had (which wasn’t a huge deal): during the process of analyzing the duplicates, the app said it would take less than a minute, but due to the thousands of the duplicates, the process took hours; the most annoying part of the problem: the analysis seemed to pause after the phone’s screen went to bark (The process did not finish even after overnight). I hope the developer can fix the problem so that the analysis process can work in the background).

Only one beef I have really… and would’ve given it five stars if a certain part(s) of the application interface included appropriate links such as “back” where they absolutely should be but aren’t for some reason, in a lot of places for no reason that could possibly make sense other than simple oversight. For example, the preemptive merging contacts screen right after analysis is performed, only link option on the screen is to merge duplicate results at the bottom but after, and only after, you select it, then cancel/discard changes, does the < back icon present itself upon return. Some function, once executed such as missing info scan screen, don’t have a “back” no matter what you do, leaving no choice but to close and restart the app… Completely silly. Aside from the rather significantly annoying navigation deficiencies, the app actually works really well…

I gave it one extra star because I was able to actually get rid of hundreds of duplicate contacts. However, I had assumed that those duplicates might actually merge into one contact so if there was data in one CV and not in another, they would combine missing data into a more comprehensive, complete contact. But no, instead it took just one (random?) duplicate and dropped all others. I have so many contacts and I’m not sure where they were added from: iPhone, Google, business emails, random website additions… who knows, but I don’t have time to go through over 1500 contacts and clean up every one of them. That’s why I wanted an app like this. I would love to give this a 5 star rating if you were able to restore my lost contacts and then merge all data from one name into one full and complete CV, then go ahead and remove the duplicates. I must say, I completely lost some names altogether as well. I’m not sure how some name’s duplicates were ALL considered dupes and were then ALL removed. 🤷🏻‍♂️ please do an update where contacts from multiple sources will be merged into one. Thanks.
