Let me start by saying the APP is great overall, I like keeping track of what and how much I have in each humidor. That said, to have unlimited humidors costs a monthly or yearly fee, which ok I get it but where is the money going? You only get 30 AI band scans a month which supposedly fills out the Brand, name, wrapper but half the time it’s wrong anyway! The AI cost estimates are ridiculous, my worth was at $700, I put in a box of cigars took none out and it dropped to $603. The camera feature sucks bad!! You take a picture and it self crops it how it wants with no rhyme or reason behind it! You center your band in the frame and it crops it to show only the bottom half….things like that! Just seems like they took a great idea, charge a monthly/yearly fee and gave you an app that should be free
There are apps out there that do more things and way better than this one for free or less money This app has too much unnecessary interaction and keeps telling me my subscription expired and i haven’t done anything The “smoking sessions” or cigars lack the picture option The retro look is not my thing with the icons that took me back to 1996
This app has great potential. The design and journal options are really nice, but there are some frustrating quirks; the AI fill is inaccurate, the low stock alert blocks your sorting options, the photo viewer can only be exited by closing the app entirely, and the price estimate button gets repetitive when adding multiple cigars. Add an in-depth rating mode, the ability to transfer cigars between humidors, and fix these issues, and this would easily be my go-to app.
