I am a music teacher, and a lot of my students want to learn how to write songs but can’t play piano or guitar well enough yet to accompany themselves - and this app, paired with something to make sounds, is a brilliant way to get a budding songwriter of any age to get past the first stumbling blocks and start feeling and hearing how chord progressions work. I also love getting people started thinking about chords in terms of their meaning, rather than just their letter names - iv7 instead of Fm7 for example. If this app included a simple piano sound as a toggle-able option to create sound, it would be a PERFECT teaching tool for this teacher. Just sayin’. Thanks for making it!!!

I have just about every midi controller and didn't think I needed another one, but this is so very different! It does inversions and complex chordings and it is just really awesome. With this, you can choose wrong chords and actually be more musical as you hear and feel them. It is truly remarkable when paired with grain science, thumbjam, and the arpeggiator on Cassini. Don't pass up this awesome controller. On each of the pads, you can set it up to play three separate chordings as well as the inversion and octave buttons. No regrets getting this great tool.
