Choose For Me - Quick Pick It

I’ve ended up writing a huge list of story ideas and situations for characters to be in. I accumulated them over time, doing research on story prompts, and etc. I use it whenever I can’t think of what story to make, and even my friends ask to use it as well. The problem is, some of the ideas are long enough that I can’t see the end of what I wrote when I look on the list, neither can I edit it until I’m able to identify which one it is that I want to edit. Which can be difficult if some ideas have similar wording in the beginning. I also have no idea if updating this app will cause all of that work I put on the list to go to waste. I don’t want to have to go down the entire list, trying to remember what the end of it (that I can’t see) was, and write it all down somewhere, just to put it all back in the app again. Does anyone know if I’ll loose all my work?

I am subscribed to the Criterion Channel, which has literally thousands of movies online. My queue is already in the hundreds, and I’ve only browsed up through “C”. I wanted an app where I could make a running list of these movies - to add to, and delete as needed - so I wouldn’t have to browse through so many choices to pick what I’m going to watch on any given night. I looked at other randomizing apps that didn’t meet my requirements, so I was excited to find this one. Unfortunately, any time you minimize the app and then open it again, you are forced to watch another ad. So here I am going back and forth between my queue and the app, being forced to watch a commercial for every one or two items I add to my list :/ In order to use this app without this burden, I will have to write down the titles of hundreds of movies and THEN add to the list, which is a whole lot of work for something I should just be able to do while riding in the car or lying in bed.

I get stuck when I feel overwhelmed with choices. This has been a great place to keep to-do lists. The randomizer takes away the burden of choice when my brain can’t figure out how to begin. I have running lists for home and work, and so far it has worked well. Only 4 stars because the interface is a little limited. As at least one other reviewer mentioned, you can’t edit list items; you have to delete them and rewrite.
