Chime : Speaking Clock

This app is perfect. An app that is easy to use and does what is required. I am a person that never leaves my house. So in my reclusive world, I tend to lose track of time. This app has helped a lot as I have it announce the time every hour. I love that there is voice feature that announces the time. That is so much better than just hearing a chime every hour… still not knowing what time it is. With the voice feature, I don’t have to wonder what time it is anymore. Thanks for this app.

I used to have an app just like this by Blacktree, but it stopped working when iOS 15 came out in September 2021. It doesn’t even exist on the App Store anymore. I really miss that app. Edit. I use the short beep. Which the other chime app had the same sound, but with this one it’s always two beeps every time it goes off, but with the other it would do two beeps on the hour, and then only one at the half hours and quarter hours. that helped with understanding what time it was easier. So with the other one I had it set to go every quarter hour, but because the short beeps are set up the way they are on this one, I only do every half hour. any consideration of possibly changing the short beep setting would be appreciated.

I liked the options for different chimes, and the option to go every 30min or 15min instead of every hour. This app would be perfect if not for the fact that I am unable to change the times in “Do not Disturb”. The default times are to not disturb you from 9PM to 6AM, but I want to change that to 9:30PM to 7AM. Every time I tried to change it, I got a “Warning: Invalid Dates” popup. It might be because my phone uses a 24-hour clock instead of a 12-hour clock.
