Chess puzzles!

There are puzzles in this app that are definitely different the the average chess puzzle app in the store. At least the ones I’ve played so far. I’m probably being a bit subtle here. It’s a good thing. I wish there was a reset puzzle option. I’m one for the problem you’re currently playing and one for the category section. It’d make replaying a puzzle more efficient.

I was hoping for an app dedicated to puzzles. Granted it has puzzles, but it feels more like an introduction to the game rather than an app dedicated to chess problems. I don’t need sections teaching me how to play and I don’t need to be rewarded every time I complete one. You have to back out of the problem you just completed to a screen with the problems for that specific section, and scroll to the next one. There should be “next button” (or something) so I can quietly and efficiently move on to the next puzzle. I feel like I’m beating a dead horse, but I want puzzles I find the positive feedback loop rewarding me for completing a mate in 1 entirely unnecessary.

Great way to pass the time with out feeling like your wasting it. Really fun, challenging and mentally stimulating. Barebones of what you need they don’t over crowd the app with themes so you can get strait to the point. With out an in app purchases you might find your self running out of puzzles but this is a perfect time to go back to the beginning and run through them again as most won’t be fresh in your mind so they can still be challenging but more importantly this will help keep you sharp. So far my only issue with the app is puzzle pack “Hard mode :)” puzzle “Last minute protection” seem to be bugged you goal is to mate in 3 an I see the make in 3 but the app won’t let you move you knight to the appropriate position on your second move. An before you ask yes I’m sure there’s not another way to play it because not only was I unable to see another possibility but just to be sure I tried making every available move on the board 3x just to insure I didn’t miss one an the app just kept telling me they were all wrong
