Cat Hero : Idle RPG

Not sure if there was a change in management or team, but ever since last year, this game has been going downhill. Not sure if they’re trying to get it to EOS but continue to make too much money, but it’s getting ridiculous. Every update has been adding aggressive P2W mechanics and HEAVILY time-gated events in a supposedly “chill AFK game” that used to be very F2P/light-spender friendly, not to mention routinely reducing the amount of rewards are actually available. Whichever dev is pushing for once-weekly/once-monthly events that you need to register for a set 20 minutes per-1 hour time slot at the most god awful times needs to be removed from the team. At this point, they’re adding garbage bloat for the mega-whales and leaving their other players with bad tastes in their mouths. Basically completely abandoned trying to get new players and making long-time players happy in favor of their mega whales.

Just like title says, I really love the game at its core. One of the better idle games out there with so much to do. You can be pretty active with it or lean in to the idle playstyle and have a great time either way. That being said, holy cow this game was made for whaling. There seem to be auto generated offers that pop up in response to you doing almost anything. Got a new fish level? Great, here’s an opportunity to spend 80 dollars with our fish level 60 pack but be careful the offer goes away tomorrow! It’s so overbearing. Additionally, there’s so many currencies that it gets difficult to even find the right shop to spend them at. Some event rewards have three full tiers. The first one being free, but then there’s two different levels of event pass? Now it is only fair that I also point out that removing ads is only two dollars and it removes them forever and gives you any rewards you would normally have to claim by watching ads. That’s nice. Plus the base vip pass is only 8 bucks. Also nice. But everything past that just feels insane…. 80 dollars is an insane asking price for fake game currency that you’re constantly shoving in people’s faces.

I personally think this is one of the best games I’ve played it is very fun unlike a lot of other games I’ve played what I like about it is you always have to stay on top of it so you don’t lose your ranks where as other games you can get to a rank not play for a couple of weeks and be in the same rank there is plenty of different skins, modes, and skills so anyone can play and be unique with their skins and gameplay you can also be f2p like me or pay to play either way works another thing that i think is a cool feature to the game is the chat if your a beginner and need to know how something works you can just ask in the chat and many people will answer and the last thing I think is great about the game is the daily calendars Because if you are a f2p player these can help you out very much they usually give gems, tickets, skins ,etc and that’s why I think this game is a good game that you should download
