Good addition to built-in iOS phone spam management

I use Call Protect to block ranges of phone numbers that turned out to be spammers. iOS now allows you to send unidentified and known spam to a separate folder where you can choose whether or not to be notified. Unfortunately, iOS only lets you block individual numbers. I don't know how effective Call Block is for spam call blocking, but I do know it works well for blocking number ranges. You can also choose to whitelist your contacts if you want. When I blocked a number range calls, calls with those numbers are automatically sent to voicemail, and your phone does not ring or notify you (unless you have whitelisted your contacts or a specific number in the blocked range). It has a very simple Interface even offers reverse phone look up. It's free with no annoying ads. All that is five stars for me.

Great app

I’ve been using this app for probably 4-5 years now and it works great. In the beginning I still received a few unwanted calls, I’m not sure if it was still working out some kinks or if it was learning my list or what but now those calls Never Come through. Once in awhile one will leave a v/m but usually they don’t. I get maybe 1 - 2 spam v/m per month. So the call comes in this app just blocks it from actually ringing my phone. Which is fine by me. I’m a teacher and like to keep my phone on for emergencies from my own kids but I can’t have my phone ringing off the hook during class and there was a time it was ringing about every hour or so. Or sometimes back to back w the same caller. Plus the reverse look up has proved to be helpful on several occasions and I can add numbers that should blocked for others as well. Go ahead and give this app a try.

Don’t believe the negative reviews!

This app works, and always has worked! Had it since 700K blocked numbers, now it’s over 4.7 million. The negative reviews, in my opinion, are either from actual telemarketers trying to discourage you from an app that actually works, or developers of other blocking apps trying to steer you away as well. If you say you get “more spam” now, report the numbers, stop being an idiot. If you say it doesn’t work for ranges, you’re a liar. If you say it’s “worthless”, you’re a liar and a moron as well, because there’s many reviews for this app that proves just the opposite, and hopefully nobody is going to believe your crap. If you say it blocks “wanted numbers”, then whitelist those numbers and stop being a cry baby. If you say there’s “no way” to cancel your premium subscription, you’re either a liar or a moron. That said, only a fool would believe any negativity about this stellar app. Download it for yourself and see. I went from 20 spams a week, down to about 10 (around the 2 million mark) to now maybe 1-2 a week. I continue to block and report ALL spam calls because I’m a hater. I hate telemarketers, and scammers, and so do you, and this app is the best. I’ve tried others.
