Bus+ (Bus & Railway & Ubike)

Just moved to Taipei, this app is suuuper helpful! I had a hard time using Google Maps because it didn’t really show all possible routes—just what it thought was the best. This app is designed for Taipei :)

This is one of the best public transportation apps I've used in Taiwan. With notifications of when to get off and widgets for quick reference of schedules, it is very handy commuting around town. It even has English option albeit the minor translation quirks. Still, not many, if any, local bus apps have English.

I'm bilingual, but prefer my apps in English (sometimes Chinese is necessary to double check the accuracy when in doubt or the info available is not as complete in English). Both the English and Chinese versions (switchable) of this app are on point. By far the best and most useful transportation app for Taiwan. Great organization of information, customizable and looks nice too. I only wish there was a way to pay to get rid of the annoying ads!
