Bug Identifier: Butterfly ID

I’m an amateur biologist, and this app is a gem. Recognition is spot-on, even with rare species, and the info (like if they’re a threat to humans) is detailed. Search is smooth too. Only downside — the interface feels a bit cluttered, but you get used to it.

My kids keep finding bugs and asking “what’s this?” Used to Google it myself, but now I just snap a pic and get the name plus safety info instantly. The “trophy” map keeps them thrilled. Loading can be slow sometimes, though.

Never thought I’d get hooked on insects! Took a pic of some weird fly at the cottage, turns out it’s rare. Now I’m hunting for more to add to my map. The search feature helps when I can’t find something myself, and the details about them are spot-on. Love it!
