I was pretty disappointed to find out itโs not a one on one chat with the idol. I had to beg my mom to let me get the app. While I understand idols are busy and canโt talk to everyone thereโs like a 5% chance if the idol seeing your message. I feel like one on one would be better so all fans get a chance to connect with their favorite idol. Even if it meant paying more In today's fast-paced digital world, the desire for authentic connections with our favorite idols has never been stronger. JYP Bubble offers a fantastic platform for fans to interact with their beloved artists, but transitioning to a private chat format could elevate the experience significantly. A private chat would foster a more personal and intimate connection, allowing fans to share their thoughts and feelings directly with their idols, leading to more meaningful interactions. This exclusivity would not only enhance fan engagement (I feel like thereโs a lot of fans who donโt get messages back from their idols because chat rooms are so busy) but also create a sense of trust and loyalty towards the JYP brand. By implementing private chats, JYP Bubble could truly transform the landscape of idol-fan communication, making it a more cherished and memorable experience for everyone involved.
So a lot of the reviews are talking about the price, comparing it to Weverse (how everything on Weverse is free), and about how you canโt talk with the other fans, so yes you do have to pay but itโs whole month for 3.99 but thatโs not that expensive, and they canโt make it free because they make a profit out of these apps along with the company and their is no need to compare it to Weverse because on Weverse yes you can message some idols but you have to pay for that like JYPbubble and you also have to pay to see certain posts (you have to but a membership). As for not being able to talk with other fans I think you still can in a fan club on the app but Iโm not sure, but also I think itโs better that itโs not like a large group chat and that only the idol can see all the other fans because Iโm sure parents of young kids wonโt want their kids to be able to talk to other random fans but thatโs just my personal opinion.I hope this helps someone! โฅ๏ธ
I have 3 biases from stray kids and in order to talk to each one, I would have to pay $10/month. Thatโs a little crazy imo. I sort of wish it was a one-time purchase, but the subscription aspect makes it less affordable for some people. Other than that, itโs a great app! A little difficult to navigate, but became easy once I got into the groove of things. I find the concept very interesting, I thought they were just paid chatbots but it turns out it really IS the idol, just that on their end they are viewing a groupchat. But they can absolutely see your messages and even reply to them. I donโt understand why people want this app to be free. Imagine how many people would be talking to the idols at once if this app was free. Imagine how much stricter the chat filter would be, due to there being a large influx of people joining and likely trolls/antis who donโt care about the members being able to send messages directly to the idol. I think itโs perfectly reasonable why JYP is charging money to talk to your idols. But there can be a miscommunication that this app is free, since it doesnโt say anywhere before you download it. So to anyone expecting this app to be free, itโs not. You canโt do anything if you donโt have at least $3.99, thatโll give you 1 month of a chatroom with 1 idol of your choice. For me, I chose felix because I heard heโs the most active, and I want to make the most of my purchase. This may be valuable information to those who are only planning on spending that much.
its not fake. whenever an idol talks, its based off the idolโs schedules, and whenever they have a chance to talk. so if an idol is not talking for a long period of time, most likely they are busy. its not a bot, either. ive had Felix for a month, and he sends photos and audio messages you wouldnt find anywhere else. its actually him. if you watch SKZ videos (ex. skz talker) they will mention bubble at times. If the idol says โrandomโ things or saying off topic things, its because they are talking about their days and such, and responding to other peoples messages. you are NOT having a 1-on-1 convo with the idol. on your screen, it looks like a private convo, but for the idol, all they see is a huge group chat (aka people who paid for that idols messages). the idol may or may not acknowledge your message, since theyโre receiving many messages all at once. the idol may or may not acknowledge you. for skz fans, Felix is one of the most active out of all members, second would be Lee Know. people forget that idols are simply busy and they may not talk for periods of time. if youโre someone who would want to receive pretty consistent messages, iโd suggest Felix or LK. Felix has spammed my phone overnight (lol). you can go for your bias, but keep in mind they may not talk as often. everyone may not talk everyday and that doesnt make it fake. its just real. if youre someone who has lack of patience and wants messages daily- tough luck. this app wont be for you.
I love the app so far, and like many of us stays we donโt know if itโs 100% really them but regardless itโs a really awesome concept to be able to text them! The only thing is that I wish we could write longer paragraphs and that we could copy the messages to translate them in other sites because the translation in the app is very inaccurate. Even Bang Chan literally said that the translations are not always right to the point where he himself is literally translating everything for me ๐ like i said I think it would be much better if we were allowed to copy the messages to attempt to translate them in a more accurate way because what is the point of interacting with them if weโre not going to be able to fully understand them, which I think that is the whole point of the app. Also like writing simple sentences are sometimes too long and Iโm not allowed to write what I actually want to say because of the character limit. I understand the 3 messages limit because there can be people whoโll try to spam them so I agree with the message limit however the characters should be more than 30 because I cannot write more than 3 words because of the character limit, so I canโt even finish my sentences and because of this they donโt make sense which is why I had to start translating everything to Korean because that way I was allowed to write an actual full sentence that makes sense ๐ so if these two issues could be solved or updated it would seriously make the app so much better and worth it!
