Bubble Explode - pop puzzle

Update: within 24-hours of writing my initial review, the app’s Development team contacted me to let me know they FIXED this issue. Yay!! Their email and super fast response made my day, and I’m back to playing the only game app I own with fervor. Thank you. I absolutely love this app and really appreciate it. This was the only game I played. Not sure what happened during the last update, but the scoring is no longer cool. When you play against the game in “Turn by Turn,” the game scores three times the points then you for the same play. The scoring used to be even but now, it’s no longer fun or interesting. Bring back the former scoring.

I’ve enjoyed the games, usually to unwind before bedtime. I’ve even managed to earn over a million points in two different ones, though I’m just a casual player. Loved them! But today, I’m writing a review in frustration, and am sharing that experience. I’ve had no response from sending a bug report. I completely cleared the board in Critical Mass, except for two pumpkins, but was still only at 98%. I’ve played many times where the game popped and I won, with several stray pumpkins trapped on the board- sometimes with a dozen. I’ve been playing this game run for a week, getting to 1.5 million. What has me extremely annoyed is that I’ve been playing the same two pumpkins now for ten hours, off and on, and only three different combinations come up to replace my two, with a five-second “game over” warning appearing each time. I’ve had to use at least a thousand pearls going back one turn - I don’t know how many hundreds of times. Although I purchased the maximum number of Undos, and did not use them, they all disappeared, with only the current play available. So I’m in an apparent endless loop with no ability to win the game, no ability to undo -just spending pearls to see the SAME three unhelpful combinations appear again and again and again. And again, again, and AGAIN!!!! I turned the power to the phone off, to no avail. So what gives? After a million points, it just turns into an unwinnable money-spending loop? It changed my opinion from loving the games to not so much. I don’t know whether I’ll bother anymore, if the end result is that, at a certain point, you can’t physically win the game. Blaach.

I am a loyal fan of your games and with great customer service as you have provided I will continue to be one!! UPDATE REVIEW!!! Bubble Explode has always been one of my favorites apps. It is one of the first games I downloaded when I got my first iPad when Apple first released the iPad!!! Bubble Shootix is my favorite game to play. I started playing it after an update that changed how you play Classic and I no longer enjoyed that game as much. Then Bubble Shootix had an update that added levels, so I adjusted again and still loved playing. I am at level 1170 and what the heck happened? There are no more levels?? If I go to a lower level and play, because I just really like playing the game, it does not allow any points to be added. What’s up? Are there going to be any new levels soon? Very disappointing!!! I am very surprised this was allowed to happen with an app that has been around for a really long time and has a lot of loyal players. Again....really disappointed ☹️ I have been playing this game for quite some time now....it is always challenging and NEVER gets boring!! Definitely one of my favorite games of all time!!! If you haven’t played, you MUST try it!!
