Was always looking forward to playing this one after the first one. My one and ONLY grip with it, is the fact that you have to purchase one character (which isn’t TOO big of a deal). I do wish it was still getting SOME support like wendy’s gift being maybe a weekly automatic thing you can claim. Other than that, great sequel. Still trying to work my way to getting vampire and magician but it’s a bit of a grind.
This game is one of the best iOS RPG's I've played but the game lacks currency rewards and better gear rewards too. I enjoy the difficulty of the levels but without the right amount of currency the game is a little tough for the average player due to the multi-task taking place in various levels. Gear is also an important factor to mention because by the time you reach stage 3-5 your teams stats and gear should be at rank4 in training and a mix of blues and purples for gear and seeing this trend is not to fond for the average player. The shop also needs work as well I understand the way that the keeper need to also make profit but when you sell an item for example (the keeper will have blue gear for $660 and the player may have a purple in their inventory that can be sold for $72) this is not a fair balance for the player. Honestly this is a great game BUT the only thing that hurt this game is the currency. DEV's Please Read
I’ll get right to the point. Black Pearl, there needs to be two different versions of this game. The first should be a premium title with a $4-$7 price tag. This version would not have IAP and would, instead, feature more balanced gameplay. The cost of upgrading your party would be reduced, and the amount of cash awarded for completing a block/battle would be increased. You would be able to actually play Brutal Street 2 the way it’s supposed to be played. The second version should be FTP. It should have IAP’s to help offset that the game isn’t balanced. Additionally, players could opt to watch ads for in-game currency. In this version, if the customer wanted to, they could pay out of pocket to basically beat the game. In short, it would be like this currently available version. Brutal Street 2 has tons of potential. But, you can tell when a dev is trying to lift your wallet. Black Pearl’s decision to aggressively push gamers towards the numerous IAP options really drags this title down. However, should they decide to release a balanced, reasonably priced version, they’ll have a killer app on their hands that’ll never be off the top 100.
