Braindoku: Sudoku Block Puzzle

Would give 5 stars if the instruction “place the figure on the field” went away, that’s rather obvious, it also covers the field annoyingly. I’m also a bit dubious about the scoring system it needs to be more obvious, I swear sometimes it doesn’t change at all even after three blocks have been cleared all at once. Update. Another thing that would polish the game is fixing game ending bugs such as the missed flip figure bug described in other reviews. You should be able to see the endgame field instead of just the game over screen , the game has ended prematurely a number of times yet I can’t see why. Thanks again! Game has changed massively since I “bought” the game, and originally wrote this review.I am now being inundated with ads again and pressed intensively to buy subscription. Not happy. Will probably delete.

I’ve had this game since the beginning. I have lived through the “pay $5.99 to remove ads” that removed nothing. But still I play because it can be so calming. 2 updates ago the journeys appeared and I hated it but I found the free play option so I was okay. Then I bought the option to flip my blocks and I loved it! I figured out that even if it didn’t let me flip my last block it would save the game and let me start where I left off next time. I hate this new version. I don’t want to earn points to be able to do something I PAID FOR. I just want to be able to relax and play this for as long as I want. 5 stars for the concept of the game, 1 for the continued changes I didn’t want. Update: now the free play option is gone and the journeys are being updated so they don’t currently exist, AND the daily puzzle costs $$ now. So greedy. There’s nothing for me here anymore and you were my go-to game for years and years.

A pleasant and enjoyable game. I don’t fret about trying to beat my high score, but I do find that I am developing strategies and improving as I go along. I haven’t had the problems others have with freezing, etc., maybe because I play in Airplane Mode. If I want to clear the middle I close Airplane Mode and watch an ad or two. The ads are for other games and at some point I might download one of them. They aren’t obtrusive or annoying. I especially like this game because I can play while watching TV or talking to someone.
