I’ve been using it off-and-on for a month or three, and I can say that its very useful! While I would advise not writing your full story inside of it (obviously, keep your writings in different places) due to issues with loading times, it is very useful for planning. It’s very easy to understand and put together the building blocks of your story. The only complaint I will make is that, on occasion, it does take an extremely long time to load. Other than that, pretty good!
I signed up for a five day trial, and it said I could cancel whenever, until the 5 days was up. It hasn’t even reached the 5 days yet, and it took $30 dollars. I tried cancelling the trial before it took money, and you can’t even cancel it. That’s insane. I usually don’t do these things but that honestly made me upset for real.
I read the reviews saying Fabula was glitchy and deleted work with no recovery option; however, I decided to try it out for myself. I kept a copy of my work on a Notes app, just in case. Without even having this app for 24 hours, all my work was gone. First, it was just the extended synopsis; however, I found that when I restarted the app, my entire book was not in the library anymore. The rumors are true, folks. Believe the hype.
