As a private piano teacher of a busy 45 student studio, I had been searching for an app to keep track of my business. BobClass has changed the way I manage my students by digitizing my scheduling calendar, allowing me to send reminder and booking texts, allowing clients to check my availability and self-book lessons, and keeping track of payment and attendance history all in one app! It is a highly effective tool and allows us piano teachers to stay relevant in the fast-paced, busy world we live in. I have increased productivity and because students have so many tools and reminders, attendance is at an all time high. I’ve also based my tuition around the units model in the app and sell my lessons packages in units of 10 and the app keeps track and deducts units each time they attend. If you are a small business lesson/class instructor, this app is hands down the best available. There is no other product available that does this, specifically tailored to our profession. As a matter of fact, I feel like they designed it just for me because it does EVERYTHING I want it to and more!
This is my first app review ever, for good reason. I got this app to use for my customers in an advertising environment. It is great to keep up on sales, designs, deadlines, and overall progress of accounts. I use this app every workday to keep organized and also to keep notes on my accounts with my iPad. After every client visit I write notes and keep track of how much is invoiced with Bobclass. In an industry that is so paper focused it has drastically cut down the mess that comes with that. Totally eliminating the need for a computer on the job. You could use this anywhere from a tattoo artist to personal training to sales at any position for this app. An additional plus is the developers are open to feedback of their users.
I run a small private tutoring company and have tried dozens of apps to try and track student progress and manage schedules. This is the first one I've found that allows me to do almost everything I want. I can have students pay in advance for multipe sessions and keep track of how many they have remaining in their packages. I can track their progress from week to week. I can send reminder texts and emails. Most of the things it's missing are specific to tutoring and I can manually enter the info elsewhere to keep track. With all of the systems I've tried, this is the first that I've kept using after an initial trial. Most others proved too difficult to set up. Set up was very easy and largely customizable. Great app for managing complicated schedules.
