The “security” on this app is essentially scramble the on screen numbers when you try to enter a pin that you can only get in person at the bank. Also, you can only use the app on one phone and screw you if you lose the phone or delete the app without deauthorizing the app first. When you can get in the app doesn’t let you do anything outside of direct Italian transfers. This bank is a joke and the app is worse.

between how we do business here in the US and how italian does business! we have a home in italy where we spend our summer months. i am long time customer with bank of america. although i would never call b of a perfect, but boy compared to this BNL app, bofa's app and online presence is like the first world versus the third world. not only can i not do many things i am able with the b of a app, i cannot even print out monthly statement and have not figured out even on their website. maybe italian financial institute does not issue monthly statement! and many other weird corky aspects of this app for which i do not have time to write up. again, i believe this is just another reflection how italian approaches business operations which is quite backward.

The old version of this app was very functional and allowed you to do exactly what you need to do without any fuss. This version of the app, however, attempts to be flashy and gimmicky. For example, you can’t do a screenshot of your most recent transactions because the UI uses some weird gimmicky accordion. Dumb!!!
