Block King Puzzle

The games are functional but that’s about the most positive I could say about the game. There isn’t really anything unique about the game, it’s just a liquid (block) sorting and a block fitting game, same as any other. It’s incredibly pushy with its ads and ingame purchases, horribly distracting from the actual game. There’s just way too much going on here, and the only reason I’m not rating it a one star is because it’s at least functional and the previews are actually from the game itself.

Let me preface this by saying I have no problem with apps using ads to help balance their bottom line with many players' desire to play for free....WITHIN REASON. I downloaded this game to earn points in another app & I think for the first time, I'm just gonna quit on it w/o getting any points because the ads are simply unbearable. Not only are you forced to watch an ad literally between every level (which take maybe 10-15 sec to complete, tops) they also put an obtrusive banner "enticing" you to pay to remove all ads over 75% of every screen between levels. It's way too much—in fact, out of the 100+ games I've downloaded over the years I've never encountered such an over-the-top amount of ads. Especially in such an overly simple game, where you're spending mere seconds on each level, it's just an obnoxious amount of ads to shove in players' faces, only to be made even worse when you're constantly reminded that if you pay for it they'd be happy to remove all the ads that are currently making the game pretty much unbearable to play. And I'm not just being unfairly critical, I believe this is the first time I've ever left a 1 star review on an app.....I'm just astonished by how little effort seemingly went into developing a worthwhile game vs. how focused they apparently are on maximizing ad revenue from this so-called game. Oh and worst of all: I'm a veteran of those play-to-get-paid type apps, I've tried dozens of them & every so often run into an issue w/ getting properly credited for completing tasks or whatever. This is the first time I've ever come across a game where it's not even clear how the tasks listed even correlate to the game. It says you can earn points for completing "Challenge 1," "Challenge 10," etc. yet as far as I can tell, there aren't even numbered challenges anywhere within the app..? So this was an all-around disappointing download & ultimately a waste of time.

The game has several glitches with the current version of ios. Im getting alot of blank black screens when I go to play a game especially in a challenge. The only way to get rid of the blank black screen to play a game is to completely close the app out and restart it. It also has issues when you play fill in the shapes where it doesn’t let you move the blocks to where they belong. If these and several other glitches get fixed I would gladly change my review from 2 stars to 5 stars. I play using my ipad air 4th gen and my iphone 15 pro max if that helps anyone.
