Blackjack Trainer 101

Blackjack is a game with a constant stream of decisions. You must choose after every new deal whether to hit, stand, split, double, and sometimes surrender. Millions of hands of computer simulations have shown what the optimum play is for each possible combination on the table. But how do you know? Serious players study charts and graphs and try to memorize the proper response, while the amateurs sit panic-stricken and ask the dealer or someone else what to do. This excellent app allows you to set the rules of different casinos, and then train relentlessly until you're scoring 100%. Only then are you really ready to go to a casino. Anyone who isn't that skilled should save their money. I've been playing this game for 50 years and I still take at least 15-20 minutes with the app before heading into battle. It's my money. Why shouldn't I be as prepared as I possibly can be? The author charges a ridiculously nominal fee for his work, less than one five dollar table bet, and anyone who thinks that's too much is an idiot. I learned old school by studying charts, and that's nothing like this interactive, flashcards-style learning method. This is undoubtably a five star app. It does exactly what it's advertised to do and I can't recommend it highly enough. Do yourself a favor. Buy this app happily, and save dozens, if not hundreds of time the purchase price over the course of years... and depending on your betting, you could even save that much in one session. The really nice thing about it is the confidence that you will feel when you're actually playing. You know what to do. There's no guesswork, and you're comfortable and sure of yourself.

I’ve been using for years. A great way to learn and improve is by practicing. Or just play for fun. It also tracks how many hands you play correctly, and how many you don’t. I like breaking my own record! You can reset that back to zero whenever you want. If I make a mistake like the 5th hand, I start over lol. There is flexibility in the type of hands you specifically want to play … soft hands give me the most trouble, so sometimes I set it, so those are the only ones that come up for more specific practice. Every year I think about cancelling my subscription because I didn’t play as much … but for $9.99 I always end up keeping it. When I want to play, regardless of how often, I can. Can’t eat at McDonald’s for that! It’s 100% worth trying it. Also zero glitches in this app.

I used this app to help me memorize the book when it comes to playing with dealer hitting and standing on soft 17. Being able to improve my blackjack game really helps me keep the house odds as low as possible when playing at casinos (online and live alike!) now I can finally stop worrying about if it’s the right time to hit, stand, split, or double and just hope the cards fall in my favor while playing! I would like to see something like a house edge calculator built in where you can choose specific rules (like blackjack paying 6:5, if you can re-split A’s or not, etc.) and have it tell you the house edge on the particular games you have options to play but still 5-Star app in my book!
