Mostly functions great

Works fine on my iPhone 13 without crashing. App is incredibly convenient to schedule appointments. It even offers a one click button to automatically add the appointment to your phones calendar so I can set a reminder the day before and an hour before. I love this feature. Only problem I have with the app is it shows the oldest donation compensation first and you cannot reverse it. This makes no sense. It used to list your most recent one first. In the debit card history section it lists recent transactions first. Why is the listed credits to my account listed backwards? Wish they would fix that. Or add the credits and debits to the history section which lists in the proper order. Or give an option to change the order and save the preference. Anyone using this section to review the company, please put that review on google. This is a review of the app. Not their services. The feedback is meant to help people see how well it works and give the app devs useful feedback. Quit making their jobs harder. They can’t make your donation experience any better or faster no matter how they design the app. 😂

APP issues

Unlike the many other reviews, my rating actually isn’t much to do with the business, just the app. I’ve had pleasant enough donations (as pleasant as getting your plasma sucked out of you with a giant needle can be), but the app itself is driving me insane. I’ve redownloaded it multiple times and it still fails to open, crashing immediately. I can get by with using the website to schedule appointments, but why even have an app in the first place if it doesn’t work? It also requires I go through an email verification EVERY time when I’m not using the app, and frequently even on the app as well. I log in with the same device each time and just hate having to go through multiple apps/mediums just to log in to one. I know it’s a small inconvenience but it’s starting to madden me. As for the actual donation process: at the location I go to in North Phoenix, the staff are typically very friendly. Yes, they are overbooked and understaffed, but that’s not really their fault either. The company needs to limit the number of people scheduling at close times MUCH better. 5 minute intervals between reservations is NOTHING when the screening process easily takes 20. Today was the worst donation I had gone through, 30min spent waiting for each step of the process I went in at 9:30am and wasn’t out until 12:20, which is unusual from my previous experiences here. I used to get out in and out in an hour and a half, hour and forty-five easily. I’ve been in screening lines that bend around the corner, into a section of beds that are only used when it’s a REALLY busy day, and this line wasn’t even at that point when I arrived. Really bizarre. But once I got past the, unfortunately multiple, appointments it took me to get “cleared to donate,” it’s been pretty easy for me. My bigger frustrations are with the app itself.

Sent home without compensation due to lack of staff

Today, Tuesday, November 5th, I had a donation appointment at the Temecula CA Center at 7:00 pm. I went through the entire donation screening process. I got my finger pricked, they took my blood pressure, the checked my weight, and passed my questionnaire. I was waiting in line for them to connect me to the machine, so that I could start the donation process when they told us that they were short staff and they sent me and home well as other people who were in front of me. They didn't give us any coupon and, they told me that we would not be paid. It's not fair that they schedule so many appointments if they don't have enough staff to serve us. I lost more than an hour of my time, spent gas and drove more than 20 miles to be here just to be sent home without any kind of compensation. I don't think it's fair. I demand that I be reimbursed for my wasted time, because that wasn’t my fault they didn’t have enough staff. They told me that there is no way they could give us any coupon, but I know they can. This has already happened in the Corona California center, and whenever this happens they give us a coupon or compensate us. I'm very disappointed and upset with this company. I have been a constant donor for more than a year and I am seriously thinking about moving to a different plasma donation center. I hope you answer me and something is said or done about it. I’m very upset.
