I love this app! It is hands down the best Bible journaling app out!! But I do wish it improved in certain areas, which first is Translations- it only has 6 English translations missing popular translations like NKJV, NIV,NLT. while it does have some good ones I feel like 6 is limited compared to popular translations people use. Next is COLORS for notes/highlighters. The colors are dull and need working on(maybe even just add customizable colors to easily solves the issue completely. lastly are small tweaks like adding folders in the tags/notes/favorites section so you can mesh alike topics.
I have found solace as well as happiness in your app. Today’s devotion gave me a sense of peace and a feeling of joy, gratitude, and happiness. I feel like doing a happy dance! Thank you for providing this wonderful gift in your app. It makes my day every day. Today, I especially enjoyed it so much that I decided to make a comment on the App Store to share with others that I’ve immensely enjoyed the reading. I applaud the creators and contributors for providing this app to everyone. To all out there considering getting the app, get it! You won’t regret it. Thanks again to everyone involved in providing content and support for everyone to begin or end their day with positive, encouraging, and inspiring content.
I’ve been using NeuBible for a couple years because I want a bible app that is focused on the design of the text for reading, but that app has gone off the deep end with a recent sale of the app to another company. This app does exactly what I want, it keeps everything minimal and lets you focus on the reading of the words of God. On an 11” iPad the margins are substantial so the line lengths aren’t too long. It doesn’t justify the lines of type so there’s no weird word spacing in the middle of a line of type. It lets you tweak the typography just enough to have some choice, but doesn’t let the user stray away from readability. My only complaint is the extremely limited choice of translations. I know this comes down to just one person’s translation of preference, but since that is such a personal choice it would be nice to have more options. Other than that, I hope the developer doesn’t give in to a bunch of feature requests and let the app stray to far from it’s primary focus.
