Bestla - Companion for Tesla

It worked pretty well for the first year. Small updates posted regularly and had no problems logging in. All of the sudden it won’t login anymore and the dev won’t reply to help requests from multiple users so that’s been disappointing. Some say he stopped working on it so be cautious if you’re thinking of trying it out. Would totally be a 5 star app and a great value that millions of people would buy if he can keep it working and updated!

So I’ve opened this app twice. Not sure what it does other than apparently generate a graph of battery charge over time? Seems like it’ll take a while to show anything useful. There was mention of setting up macro actions; sounds cool, maybe I’ll do something with that some day. Back to my life. And then…oh! It doesn’t do anything any more? Just a nag screen for money? I don’t recall anything about a 7 day trial…honestly this is the first mobile app I’ve ever heard of using that old fashioned model. I’m not above paying for useful apps, far from it, but…what does this even do? Was I supposed to watch a tutorial or something? Is seven days enough for everyone else? Shouting a trial be based on actual time used, not time elapsed? There’s probably a lot of cool features here but I’ll never know, because I’m being asked to pay sight unseen. I got by for years without this, so whatever.

This App has a plethora of features that really should be standard in OEM Tesla app. Being able to closely track my range and battery degradation over time has given me peace of mind and a better understanding of my vehicle. A must-use for any Tesla owner!
