I love it as it works off-line. I travel alot for work and was recommended this application by my colleague before my Barcelona vacation. Nice pictures and short detailed write-up about places to see and eat. The map works off-line so you will not be lost. Just down-loaded NYC and restaurants recommended are all my favourite. A must have for all avid travelers !

Of all the free travel apps available for the iPhone, Guidepal apps, though not perfect, are my favorite. I like most of the Guidepal apps. And I travel A LOT! While there tends to be pretty good information and ideas, they need to do more to regularly update the apps. Most of the time the prices and/or open hours listed are wrong. This is important information for people who are trying to use the app but do not have wifi at the destination to check current rates and times. Guidepal needs to be very diligent about updating the app with current information.

The app is attractive and very useful. The app's features and usability characteristics are pleasing. The app's menu is well-balanced with helpful travel information that suits me. The app has a clear purpose and well-suited for first time and repeat users. I would highly recommend this app to a friend or colleague.
