This is so cute for a quick 5 min tech session for my toddler. HATE the "new app" button on the bottom right that my child continually clicks on by accident. This should go into a menu. Ruins the experience 9 out of 10 times.
this app was fantastic for my 1 year old, but recently, it must have been updated and now she can get into the 'new app' section?? and THEN they have the parent lock.. it takes her out of the app and now I have to monitor it because all she wants to do is click that. if it doesn't change, I'm deleting it, which is unfortunate because I paid for the full version. update: putting it in airplane mode changes nothing. and now she's so obsessed with pressing the 'new app', she doesn't play the games
so really long time ago i downloaded this game because people were talking about it online and it was more of just a joke, since the app was kinda goofy so i downloaded it. i mean itโs great for younger kids/toddlers because itโs not like over complicated and it has lots of numbers and letters in the app that they can play around with. but i think itโs a little weird to have camera and microphone access. especially since this games intended audience is like 2-5. like some people might download this for their young children and leave them with the app to play with but right when opening the app it will ask for your camera and microphone access to see and listen to you. a 2-5 year old wonโt really know what allowing camera and microphone access can do, so they could click yes and the app would be able to see and listen to them the whole entire time they are playing with the app. it also kind of weird because the app is just tapping numbers that allows you to call animals for fun, so why would they need camera and microphone access enabled in order to do that? especially since itโs just an image of a random animal every time and random gibberish for 5 seconds and it hangs up. thereโs not really any reason it needs to see and listen to a young child. ๐ฌ but i guess as long as you disable it the game is fine overall.
Your child will run into blocked sections that require you to solve math equations to send you to the full purchase option unless you purchase the full version you will be playing this app more than your children. developer seems to think I don't understand how the math equations are a locking system to keep your children from accessing certain features, seems like they think we are stupid and don't realize that it is a ploy to get us to just buy it so the kids can play without the bother.
This is the best thing invented since sliced bread ๐โผ๏ธThese animals be making me cracking it up. Anytime I need to call 911 for an emergency they are so helpful and quick to answer best costumer service Iโve ever experienced!!!!! Babyโs phone has me and my family rootin and laughin and tootin and cracking it all up ๐ฃ๐คฃโผ๏ธit literally sounds like popcorn is being made in the microwave as I write this review. This app makes me feel like Iโm fresh out the womb again. Thank ya lawd. As the green frog said: ๐ธ Ababa laba da da hehehe
Overall it is a nice application. The problem is that it tries to become a game. When I, like a parent, downloading this for a child, I expect that the child will โcallโ imagine friends and talk to them. This app when the โcallโ button is pressed, shows some funny picture for 10 seconds and โdropsโ the call. So a child cannot say anything. When kids play with any random thing imagining it is a phone, they spend many minutes talking. This app cannot even provide the same experience as a printed picture because a child is pretty sure that the call is ended and thereโs no sense to speak. Instead, the app suggests some kind of a gaming experience. But I donโt need yet another primitive game, there are millions of them in AppStore. I want my kids to simulate a real talk from the real world, not to look at the screen all the time with no brain activity.
