Baby Camera - Baby Monitor

As a note: I have decent internet. Functions all over a three story house. (I’m located in a living room almost directly below my daughters room) I used this to try and keep track of my daughter because she’s at a stage where she can climb over the edge of her crib. I trusted this to keep an eye on my daughter. Nothing changed on the screen and I figured she was sleeping soundly, until I heard her screaming. Rushing up the stairs I found the iPad I used flat on its face. This app instead of letting me know that it disconnected, or anything changed kept the same screen on. I’m happy my girls got a set of lungs on her. I don’t recommend this.

Unfortunately this keeps disconnecting. It’s not at regular intervals or for any specific reason. I could be watching a movie and then notice I don’t hear the white noise machine in the other room, or I accept a phone call on my phone,etc. I am consistently getting disconnected. I am able to close the app and click monitor and it connects immediately without having to rescan but that’s not a great solution if I’m sleeping.

When moving within the house, the camera sometimes freezes, which is fine due to connectivity issues, but the UI shows no indication of this and shows ‘Live’. It also doesnt connect back on its own. I am using the flash to check if its still connected. Happy to contribute and help this app get better, as a code contributor or tester.
