I really hate that this app won’t allow videos to be viewed unless you’re sitting in the car with the engine running. What an amateur, entry level app for a company that has great reviews and sales for their dash cams. Another annoyance is that no controls can be managed from the smartphone app. Meaning, settings can only be done through the dash cam and NOT the app itself. Ridiculous! Also, what’s up with having to not be able to connect to the wifi without having to go through several steps? Turn on wifi on dash cam > open settings > connect to dash cam > open app > wait and view. In an accident situation, should I have to go through all that? Yep. Why? Because this is a horrible app. Good camera though.

I’ve used different cameras and softwares and by far I think this surpasses them all. Not only is it constantly being updated if bugs and issues are to be found but it also provides a simple overview of what you can change. I haven’t noticed any groundbreaking issue within the app and if there’s an issue, it may just be a simple hardware problem. However, one of the issues I actually am facing is audio. If downloaded through the computer (via sd card) the levels and distortions of the audio is fixed but if the file is extracted from the app, distortion noise levels can be heard.

The app seems to have much more capability than accessing thru the dashcam itself. I paid to the more expensive option with a rear camera. The app lets you turn on both front and rear cameras and record however the settings don’t save to the dashcam. This means ever time the car shuts down and you restart you have to get out your iPhone connect to the wireless network go into setting and turn the second camera on. If you don’t it JUST records the rear camera as it thinks u are in reverse. I wish it could be set up to record BOTH rear and front camera simo without the tedious effort.
