Associations - Colorwood Game

I had one puzzle that I had the only possible word group left and it wouldn’t mark as correct. I used hints and the hints showed that they belonged together but still wouldn’t let me move on. I even looked it up (which I hate) and every one said my word grouping was correct. I contacted support and got the automatic response saying it would take 4 working days but they usually do it quicker. Well it’s been 3 weeks and still nothing. I even sent reply’s to that email like it says I could and nothing. I contacted support a second time and still only received the auto message. My kids and I did enjoy the game but thanks to no support answer haven’t been able to move on from puzzle 41 so the app is completely useless now since it’s stuck on that one puzzle.

The actual game is really fun but this developer has decided to monetize it in the grossest way possible. It’s really a shame. It’s kinda like NYT Connection but with some fun twists. The banner ads on the top or bottom of the okay board are not the prettiest thing to look at but they are fine I understand yall need to make a living. But the full screen ads after each round are awful and idk if it’s a big or something but I do not see a why to X it out on my iPhone 17 Pro. I tapped everywhere and there was no way to close the ad after it was finished. The craziest thing is they have an ad free in app purchase. 2.99 for SEVEN DAYS. That is so gross. This game could be huge if the publishers weren’t driven but gross greed.

I love the concept of the game, it is great. I love that you either have to match an image in a word together to make another word or image and I also like the concept of the color for the category, but I found that this game does cheat when you pick four to make a color. I know I had the four correct ones and it would never make the color but two other moves later for other colors or make an image or another word those same four that I picked were actually correct.. So this game will make you question yourself and I think that’s wrong because there’s tiles that can have a number of possibilities together. It is challenging.

As I like to say, when words are your playthings, you will never lack for toys. This game puts that notion to use. Words, words, words. Fine shades of meaning. Peas in a pod. Which ones belong together? It’s not always obvious. Sometimes the relationships are unclear. Move them about, try another combination. Find what links them.

This is a game with great potential, and I enjoy it. The biggest downside is that once an association is made you can’t see it again. So if a match is made while you were looking elsewhere or making a different line, you have no idea what it was. You should be able to click on a association to see what it consists of. Also you can’t see what your last association was because the graphics come up and the game screen goes off immediately. Sometimes the associations are a bit of a reach but overall fun game.

I really am enjoying these word associations. But I really would like one major change. Some of the word connections are a little puzzling. When I finish a game I really want to study the screen and it goes away so fast I don’t have a chance to look it over. Can you hold the screen longer at the end and have a button to press to continue. I would really be happier to look over the results of the game. Thank you.

I love the game. It makes me think but it freezes up after a few minutes of playing and then I have to open another app to close this one and reopen to play again. This needs to be fixed. It would be 5 stars if I didn’t have this problem.

Impossible to play without having to watch a million ads to get a hint. It combines words and makes icon pictures that are often impossible to make out what they are. You should be able to click on the icon and it tell you what it means. Invariably there will be only two, maybe 3 tiles that go together, no way to get more choices. RARELY are there 4 tiles. You have to watch a million LONG ads to get a hint. It shows 2 tiles that go together but those are the 2 that I already had put together. There rarely are enough tiles to go together. I’ve been attempting to play for weeks now but am so frustrated I’M DELETING THE APP. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!

Too many ads and also, s sometimes I want to see the title of the association created. There have been so many times that I finish a board and it closes out without me, even knowing what I did or how I even won the game. I should be able to click on previous levels and just read the board to see the different words and how they are associated with the title not just simply move onto the next board.
