Army Knots

This is a great app for learning knots. The animations are clear, can be slowed down and rotated if needed. It isn’t cluttered with a bunch of esoteric knots that you will never use or need, but it has all of the basic useful ones, anything you will actually need for climbing and most any other situation.

Was looking for an app that had the most practical knots for climbing, and every day use. Didn’t want to pay for an app, but was looking for some thing that would make it very easy to follow. This app checks all the boxes by being free, no ads, and excellent animation to show you how to tie the knot. Thank you!

There’s a lot of great knot apps out there that cost money, but i just wanted a simple reference for some basic knots and didnt see why i had to pay for such a simple resource. I have the belief that fundamental knowledge should be free of charge, while curated and modern teaching resources are free to charge for what they produce. This app is a great example of the former. A basic, reliable resource to learn some knowledge that’s been around for a long time.
