Arcadia Dominoes for Seniors

Great Game! Speed of applying a domino is perfect. I just don’t understand why a computer decides where the domino goes. Let’s say you have a 2 and 1 showing on one domino to lay on and the other domino shows 2 and 0. I want my domino 2 and 0 to go on the 2 and 0 side but the computer puts it with the 2 and 1 and I don’t have any 1’s CB in my pile to lay down next. I have a domino with a 0 on it. Make sense?!? I can’t find an answer in the rules! Other wise! Great Game!

I have played dominoes for over 55 years never experienced the game played like this. But I have to say it was a lot of fun. I guess I will download this game and see how good I really am.

Points are awarded if you go out, no dominoes left, whatever is in your opponent’s hand you get that score. I feel that it’s mostly luck, whereas standard dominoes points are scored when the dominoes equal a a number that is by 5’s. So 5,10, 15 and so on. I feel some luck in what you draw, but the skill is scoring by 5’s. You can play anything that matches, but the skill is playing a match that also equals 5,10 etc.I have been playing since I was 6. I don’t care for the scoring system you use. You say it’s for seniors, but I would say most are used to scoring by 5’s. The way you score is more like rummy than dominoes. I’m not a fan of your scoring system. Thanks and have a good day. I’m deleting this game as I don’t feel this is working my brain. Trying to get the dominoes to come out by 5’s takes brain power. I know there are many ways to play dominoes, but as I said i’m not a fan. I bet a person could train a chimpanzee to match the numbers available on the board. Also your way only allows you to play on 2 sides of the first doubles. In the standard dominoes, the first double let’s you play on all 4 sides. Again I am not a fan. Thanks and have a great day!
